What is the Independent Coffee Network?

The Independent Coffee Network is a network of flat TV's installed at Independent Coffee Houses in the US that feature new artwork from contemporary artists in variety of genres

We feature all kinds of artwork ranging from digital art, paintings and photography to short films and music. ICN is a great way for you to gain exposure and attract brand new audiences for your business. We also show people how to locate your artwork on deviantART while your art is displayed on the screen.

Why are we on deviantART?
ICN has partnered with deviantART to allow artists to submit work directly into the art feeds displayed on ICN. Using the new deviantART groups technology, you can submit your own work directly into our galleries and have it show up immediately in Independent Coffee Shops all over the country.

Have your artwork seen by thousands today!

General Terms and Conditions

When you submit artwork to the #independentcoffee galleries you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. You grant WorldWide Arts the non-exclusive right to display your artwork on the Independent Coffee Network as described below;
2. All of the rights to the original artwork will continue to be retained by you;
3. You understand there is no financial compensation to you or to deviantART for participation in this project;
4. Advertising will not run against your artwork;
5. WorldWide Arts has the right to select in its sole opinion and discretion which submitted artworks it will display in participating coffee shops and there is no guarantee that any of your submissions will be selected;
6. If your artwork is selected for display, the screen will show your deviantART username and profile address.

Restrictions include NO nudity (private regions- front and back), violence, cursing,etc. If you are not sure whether or not a piece of artwork falls under any of the above, submit it anyway and we will make a decision. Thank you for your understanding.

deviantART and the Independent Coffee Network are partnering on this project to prove that people respond to art just as much -- or even more -- than they do any other imagery which you may find streaming on a plasma screen in your local coffee shop. World Wide Arts, a California based company which programs the "Independent Coffee Network" Channel ([link]) will partner with deviantART to provide images from all types of genres and media for this innovative project. The Independent Coffee Network is programmed exclusively to plasma screens in a handful of participating independent coffee shops. It is not an actual broadcast network in the traditional sense but a closed transmission to the participating stores all located in the United States.

You can withdraw your artwork by removing it from the group gallery and if the withdrawn artwork is in use on the network it will be taken off the network within 1 week after the notification is received.

What ever the proposed favorite was.... well it was cool... but since there was no description of why I needed to make it a favorite... Well, I simply clicked no. If you can't tell me why you are sending something or why you want it favorited or what the favorite is for then... I CHOOSE NO!

EXPLAIN AND MAYBE NEXT TIME I WILL SAY YES!

Is there a listing where these screens are actually set up? Or has anyone received any feedback from this or by contributing? I am curious....

Just the feed back on DA itself has been amazing, but yes I would be curious as to those that view it on TV...think, and how long the image stays up before the next one comes along.

We can all be replaced, so make today matter...to you!
:iconkennshinabery212:
I think there should be a little more explanation... also some info on where the screens are... so that some of us can check it out... and so that we can tell others what we think.

It is important to know where your art is and what is being done with it.

A simple listing sent to the contributors would be nice... telling where sites are with screens. Then people could go, check it out.... it might even encourage more contributions.

Yeah. To approve art and to submit just by dragging and dropping. I keep screwing up when I go to stick things in my favs, since I'm used to that being the spot where they go. D:
