We feature all kinds of artwork ranging from digital art, paintings and photography to short films and music. ICN is a great way for you to gain exposure and attract brand new audiences for your business. We also show people how to locate your artwork on deviantART while your art is displayed on the screen.

Why are we on deviantART?
ICN has partnered with deviantART to allow artists to submit work directly into the art feeds displayed on ICN. Using the new deviantART groups technology, you can submit your own work directly into our galleries and have it show up immediately in Independent Coffee Shops all over the country.

deviantART and the Independent Coffee Network are partnering on this project to prove that people respond to art just as much -- or even more -- than they do any other imagery which you may find streaming on a plasma screen in your local coffee shop. World Wide Arts, a California based company which programs the "Independent Coffee Network" Channel (www.worldwidearts.com) will partner with deviantART to provide images from all types of genres and media for this innovative project. The Independent Coffee Network is programmed exclusively to plasma screens in a handful of participating independent coffee shops. It is not an actual broadcast network in the traditional sense but a closed transmission to the participating stores all located in the United States.

You can withdraw your artwork by removing it from the group gallery and if the withdrawn artwork is in use on the network it will be taken off the network within 1 week after the notification is received.

I'm going to assume that this group is defunct... there's been nothing new in half a year. An explanation as to *why* it is dead would have been nice... Overall, I'm rather disappointed with the way the group has been run-- way too shady and impersonal.
Sad to say, it's time for me to leave.

Yeah I am thinking this group is defunct as well, seeing as how the group creator has not visited DA in 26 weeks lol.

I was wondering myself whether or not this was still a viable group. I like the idea but when it goes three months without a new folder it does make one wonder. I will hang i there for a while longer, but only because it may turn around soon.

Yeah a December folder yet none for January that is accessible nor even a February one even though the month is nearly over. Sorry guys but I join groups merely to show my work off, to get exposure, but since this group seems dead I don't think that this is a place to be. Sorry guys - bye!

Just to make it clear, we are viewing and accepting submissions even if you do not see activity every day. Artwork from deviantART is constantly being displayed on our screens. Our purpose in being on this site is giving you an outlet to show off your work and give you exposure for free! If you choose to close this outlet then that is your decision and we understand. We will always be supporters of the talent on this site. Have a good one.

I understand that - but you have comments on the group profile going back into January asking about the "January Submission Folder" and NO REPLY - which leads everyone to believe the "coffeehouse" is empty, I have noticed other people commenting that things are fishy and this is not for them. I feel very uncomfortable with ANY entity that promotes such a faceless and uncommunicative front towards it's customers - because essentially that is what "we" are, your customer base. We provide you freely with fodder for your CCTV system to please your commercial accounts customers. Feedback, contact and a personable attitude would go a long way to making this "group", this project of yours a real winner. I do not want to hear the "excuse" that there is simply too much communication and whatnot either - I am a member and founder of groups larger than this one and it is very doable. I do not see this, nor do many others, it seems as well that your member count is dwindling as well. So obviously others feel the same way. Get serious and maybe myself and other artists will be back. For now no.

There has been almost zero activity on this group, and the folders issue is out of hand - is this defunct now? Maybe we need to stop contributing?
